Black Sheep is a visual exploration of time, identity, and the quiet ache of feeling out of place. At its heart, this project captures the dissonance between motion and stillness - the way life rushes forward while you feel stuck, watching from the sidelines, unseen or misunderstood.
Through fragmented moments and frozen expressions, this photo book reflects the inner monologue of someone moving through time as both participant and observer, chasing connection, purpose, and belonging, yet always a step apart. Time becomes both a comfort and a haunting presence: a measure of progress and a reminder of distance.
These images are drawn from the emotional spaces in between hazy mornings, unspoken thoughts, the repetition of days that blur. They speak to the experience of being the outsider, the outlier and the one who doesn’t quite fit the frame. But they also honour the resilience in that position, the clarity, the self-awareness and the quiet strength
Black Sheep is not just about isolation; it’s about the beauty of noticing, feeling deeply, and holding space for the in-between.
