Veiled Reflection 2024
Veiled Reflection exhibited at the Alchemy Experiment Gallery in Glasgow and was featured in their annual open call publication ‘Curtains’ (2024) . Showcasing a range of visual arts media from artists all over the world, the theme invites artists to explore curtains' variety of meanings as both physical objects and symbols for mystery, revelation, transitions and privacy.
Veiled Reflection, 2024
As the woman progresses along the deserted road, the fog envelops her like a veil, creating a sense of separation from the world around her. This misty shroud, akin to a curtain, both conceals and reveals, guiding her journey towards the unknown.
Each step she takes echoes with the ticking of time passing by, emphasizing life's fleeting moments. Just as a curtain can be drawn back to unveil hidden truths, the woman's solitary walk sparks introspection and contemplation beyond the visible. The serene early morning atmosphere intensifies the reflective essence of her path, encouraging a deep dive into her inner thoughts and emotions.
